Asana

Yoga is commonly regarded as a physical discipline.  It consists of exercises called asanas or postures that strengthen, stretch and align the body. The brilliance of asana lies in its mindful execution of posture.
  • Improves posture while developing strength, flexibility and balance.
  • Nourishes the nervous system and imparts a sense of peace and calm.
  • Increases the respiratory function, circulation and enhances digestion.
  • Builds the immune system and increases your energy level.

These exercises not only develop the body but broaden the mental faculties and spiritual capacities.

I have studied yoga with Lisa for 15 years. She has shown me how to practice yoga with awareness and how to move my body properly.  She has encouraged me to challenge myself and stretch my limits safely. As I approach 60, I am so grateful that I found Lisa all those years ago.  She is awesome. I hope to study with her for years to come.
